    Description
    In 1977, OSI introduced the first generation electronic chart system for the maritime market and revolutionized navigation.

    Today, OSI Maritime Systems is a leading provider of integrated navigation and tactical solutions designed for naval and maritime security operations.

    Among those solutions, the company develops and delivers integrated bridge systems for warships, integrated dived navigation systems for submarines, and C2 systems for small craft.

    Due to the nature of our company, all employees must pass specific security criteria.

    Only candidates who are Canadian citizens, have PR status or have a citizenship from a NATO country, and who satisfy security clearance criteria, will be considered.

    The In-Service Support (ISS) Project Coordinator is responsible for identifying and fulfilling the ISS Project contractual requirements.

    Where necessary, leading a multi-disciplinary integrated Project Team that is tasked with achieving the fiscal commitments of the Project while providing an excellent solution delivery experience to our Customers and growth opportunities for OSI team members.

    The primary difference between the Project Coordinator role and the Project Manager role is the size and risk profile of the projects being managed and the level of oversight expected.

    ISS and Support Projects assigned are typically moderate to high complexity and moderate risk. The ISS Project Coordinator will directly supervise the tasking and activities of the ISS Coordinator.
    Plans the Project including the definition and negotiation of Project Objectives
    Creates and manages project schedules and resources in P6
    Creates and manages the Project Risk register
    Communicates with customers regarding Project scope, schedule and Project issues
    Independently resolves complex Project issues within the budget and schedule mandate
    Regularly Tracks EAC and manages Project budget
    Identifies, builds and manages the project team through project life cycle
    Reports internal and external stakeholders on progress of project
    Attends engineering meetings as required for project
    Delivers projects to schedule and scope within budget
    Supports the organization in planning / scheduling and resource management of projects
    Adheres to Systems Delivery project schedule for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting activities
    Performs other project coordination tasks as identified in order to support the growth of the PMO
    Manages PCs and Project Admins as needed

    A minimum of three years' experience in a Project Coordinator role in a Systems Delivery domain with demonstrated success handling a succession of projects of increasing complexity culminating in end-to-end responsibility for moderately complex projects.

    Experience in the Definition, negotiation and achievement of Project objectives
    Experience and interest in risk management, customer management and relationship ownership
    Advanced Microsoft Office skills
    Working knowledge of general accounting software, MAS 500 would be an asset
