    Job Description

    Union: Non-Union
    Site: Toronto General Hospital
    Department: Nutrition Services
    Reports To: Manager
    Shifts: Various Shifts including weekends and holidays
    Hours: 75 hours/bi-weekly
    Salary: Competitive rate per hour (Experience-based)
    Status: Temporary Full-Time (up to 6 months)
    Closing Date: June 28, 2024

    Joining the Nutrition Services Department as a Nutrition Center Supervisor involves overseeing staff, ensuring quality nutrition care, maintaining operational efficiency, and meeting food standards for patient meal trays.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of a Food and Nutrition Management Program
    • Membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management required
    • Completion of a Food Handler Certification Program
    • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
    • Knowledge of therapeutic nutrition, food preparation, and allergies
    • Skills in Microsoft Office, decision making, interpersonal communication, organization, and time management
    • Ability to focus on priorities and meet daily requirements
