- Develop your basic skills in corporate banking, concentrated on lending and portfolio risk management
- Support your coverage team on client transactions, risk and project analysis, and portfolio monitoring and maintenance
- Preparation of credit underwriting materials for use in internal credit adjudication
- Interact and collaborate with colleagues across the bank, including syndications, capital markets, and risk management
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings on an ongoing basis Your teamYou will be part of a team of 15 colleagues located in Calgary, collaborating with colleagues located across North America, and you will report to the Managing Director and Head of the team. - Completed a Bachelor's or Masters Degree in a related field and 3 + years of experience in banking and or in an industry related field (i.e. energy industry)
- A professional designation (CFA, CA or CMA) would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated capability to work independently on complex financial analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Must be self motivated team player with a positive, enthusiastic and co-operative attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely
