    Reporting to the General Director, the Engineering Director will have full responsibility for planning and controlling the activities of the engineering department. To carry out his mandate, he relies on a team of engineering professionals to carry out the design. Ensuring rigorous budgetary management, improving performance, efficiency and quality of services, you represent your management and participate in various committees, in order to ensure continuous management of the company's activities and development.

    Tasks and Responsibilities


    • Provide strategic and technical leadership for successful sales and project implementation.


    • Supervise the execution of projects upstream and downstream.


    • Maintain all drawings and documentation related to sales and project execution.


    • Work and collaborate with Sales to answer questions/requests and find solutions to grow our business profitably.


    • Prepare bills of material efficiently and in a timely manner after the sale of a project.


    • Work and collaborate with manufacturing operations to optimize daily production efficiency.


    • Monitor the reliability and performance of all internal systems in order to suggest improvements.


    • Ensure compliance of our products with advertised/sold specifications and industry regulations.


    • Ensure our products meet quality expectations.


    • Manage sales software developments by defining requirements, objectives and deadlines.
    • Prepare and manage the engineering department budget.


    • Design strategies for future development projects based on overall company objectives and resources


    • Assign clear roles and responsibilities to team members and ensure effective supervision and performance management.


    • Implement innovative technologies in collaboration with the R&D department.


    • Coordinate new integrations and tools with internal and external stakeholders.

    Qualifications


    • 5-10 years of professional experience as an Engineering Manager or similar senior level position


    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university


    • Be a member of the OIQ;


    • Experience managing, designing, implementing and evaluating multiple projects


    • Extensive experience in the design and logic controls of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and/or dehumidifiers.


    • Strong oral and written skills in French and English


    • Leadership abilities with a strategic mind


    • Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills


    • Support, adhere to and communicate company decisions in a committed manner

    Work conditions


    •Salary between $140,000 to $180,000 depending on experience
    • Permanent position, full time,
