    Family and Child Education (FACE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive early intervention services for families with small children. We support children's development and empower families to create nurturing and stimulating environments where every child can thrive. With a holistic approach that addresses the unique needs of each child and family, FACE is committed to fostering growth, resilience, and lifelong success.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a passionate and motivated Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team for a one-year term. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing awareness of FACE through various outreach channels. They will play a crucial role in engaging with the community, promoting our programs, and fostering partnerships to support our mission.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase awareness of family and child education initiatives.
    • Create compelling social media posts and manage our organization's social media accounts to engage with our audience and promote our programs.
    • Design and distribute printed marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures, and posters, to reach target audiences.
    • Represent our organization at community events, networking functions, and other public gatherings to raise awareness and build relationships.
    • Coordinate and deliver presentations to service clubs, community groups, schools, and other relevant stakeholders to promote our programs and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all outreach efforts.
    • Track and report on the effectiveness of outreach activities, including engagement metrics, attendance at events, and feedback from stakeholders.
    • Stay informed about trends and best practices in community outreach and education to continually improve our strategies and approaches.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in marketing, or communications, preferably in a non-profit setting.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for social media, presentations, and marketing materials.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community members, service providers, and organizational partners.
    • Must have a drivers license and vehicle.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
    • Proficiency in social media management tools, graphic design software (CANVA), and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Passion for the early years and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
    • Post-secondary education in a field related to communications or marketing is an asset.
