- Liaise with clients and regulatory agencies, as directed by supervisor.
- Effectively mentor junior staff while at the same time being mentored by more senior professionals.
- Participate in all facets of contaminated site projects including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and remediation projects, field sampling, and reporting.
- Conduct field (data-collection) programs involving sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, surface water, vapour, and remediation system operation and maintenance.
- Full-time, permanent role with flexible scheduling available
- Ideally 5-10 years of experience in contaminated site assessment including project management, leading fieldwork programs for Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and remediation programs.
- Experience working at a variety of sites, with an emphasis on oil and gas (down-stream, mid-stream, and upstream projects) and commercial/industrial facilities.
- Knowledge and practical application of health & safety requirements unique to subsurface investigations and contaminated sites
- Able to work independently, including ability to work alone in remote locations and adapt to conditions/resources.
- Bachelor's or master's degree or technical diploma in engineering, geological science, or environmental science
- Valid driver's license for travel to job sites/clients
