- Address foot-related issues: Identify and treat conditions such as fungal infections, ingrown toenails, and provide specialized diabetic foot care.
- Patient education: Educate clients on proper foot care techniques and develop personalized self-care plans to enhance their foot health.
- Maintain records: Accurately document client information and care provided, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Stay informed: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, research, and best practices in foot care to provide the highest quality service.
- Hygiene and infection control: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control in all foot care procedures.
- Valid Foot Care Specialist certification or relevant state licensure.
- Previous experience as a Foot Care Specialist is preferred.
