    The opportunity

    Our Learning and Development team is current looking for a Senior Learning & Development specialist to join our team and support critical initiatives and learning for CWB. We are looking for an individual with solid problem solving and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple priorities and the capacity to identify efficiencies .

    What you'll be doing.
    • Lead the day-to-day administration of the Cornerstone LMS tool
    • Provide technical support, troubleshooting and testing activities related to LMS, virtual instructor led training, webinars, etc.
    • Build , update, and manage LMS learning objects to support organizational learning needs
    • Proactively identify ways to improve LMS processes to support efficiency and enhance the learner experience
    • Foster innovative ways to improve CWB's use of our learning management system
    • Develop, implement, and maintain a governance model for CWB's Cornerstone LMS
    • Establish systems of control to ensure the integrity of training information in the LMS
    • Craft and develop customized learning solutions including course descriptions, lesson plans, supporting materials and relevant assessment tools.
    • Conduct quality control reviews of courses at various stages of development .
    • Manage workload for multiple simultaneous projects/workstreams
    • Maintain and provide up-to-date learning paths, manuals, and resources
    • Develop short and long-term personal learning goals for continuous learning and development in the areas as identified by incumbent and manager .
    • Pursue continual learning and development of personal goals to remain current of industry knowledge as well as assist to fulfi l l the Bank's and the individual's succession planning goals .


    Successful incumbent

    Education & Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field.
    • Training/certification in LMS administration
    • Five (5) years proven experience in human resources or learning development with 1-3 years shown skill in coordinating an LMS.
    • Experience developing governance models for Learning Management Systems
    • Experience in working with partners across the business with a consistent record of consultative skills


    Skills & Competencies
    • Solid understanding of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams .
    • Team-oriented with an ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
    • Technical understanding of eLearning technologies and environments in which content is accessed.
    • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and clients
    • Ability to work independently on multiple, concurrent projects
    • Strong research and organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Strong customer service focus
    • Exhibit an inquisitive nature and the ability to question the status quo
