    Established by William Mott in 1930, Mott Electric GP ("Mott Electric") is one of the oldest and largest electrical contracting companies in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

    The Mott Electric team provides extensive experience and specialized knowledge in all aspects of electrical contracting.

    The company's work includes some of BC's most high-profile projects including schools, hospitals, high-rise buildings, substations, SkyTrain expansions, hi-tech facilities, tunnels and bridges.

    Mott's Telecom division is nationally registered to design, supply, and install broadcast sites, DataCom and telecommunication installations.


    The Chief Financial Officer reports to the CEO and is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial and administrative matters.

    The CFO provides leadership that delivers strategic advice and operational excellence for all corporate accounting, reporting, and some corporate services including human resources and information technology.

    As a key member of a small management team, the CFO will play a hands-on role elevating the company's finance function to support business operations and growth.

    Professionalizing processes, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner, leading and developing the finance team and bringing a strategic lens to operations are all key elements of this role.


    The successful candidate brings a track record of success in the #1 or #2 finance leadership role where acting as a strategic business advisor and improving financial processes in a growing company has been core to the role.

    Experience that includes construction, job costing, field operations, or family-owned is ideal, as are financial roles that have included contract review and understanding a project lifecycle.

    This is an outstanding role for a true finance partner to work in a stable, growing family business where they'll have the opportunity to think and act like an owner.

    The base compensation range for this position is targeted between $200,000 - $250,000 plus bonus. The exact compensation range may vary depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
