FANTASTIC BEASTS The Crimes of Grindelwald 3 SPUDS on Crave WIKI BLURB: A 2018 fantasy film directed by Da- vid Yates and written by J. K. Rowling. The sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it is the second installment in the Fantastic Beasts film series and the tenth overall in the Wizarding World franchise MY TWO CENTS: | have seen both of these movies and they rank very highly in the world of fantasy fiction. JK Rowling is the author of the Harry Pot- ter series, which has made her one of the very few female billionaires on the planet. This series, which is set in the same wizarding world of Harry Potter is really all about the adventures of Magizoologist Newt Scamander played by Eddie Redmayne The story is Much less about the Fantastic Beasts as it is about the politics of the magic empire, which is in the process of picking a new leader Bot of these films are incredibly well rendered and like the Harry Potter movies that came before them, genuinely capture the wizarding world that Ms Rowling describes in her books. These are mov- ies that kids and parents can both enjoy because they really are state of the art in terms of storytell- ing, memorable characters and visual effects that are right off the charts, and flawlessly rendered It's been a while since | have seen Fantastic Beasts #1.
