My Peeps
This is my daughter Star. Star is a name she gave herself many years ago, after she left home. We lost track of her for a while and when she showed back up, she was married to a great guy named Ben and had a lot of good ideas about how her future would shape up. Since then she has written and had published (by real publishers) two novels, and gone back to school at Ryerson University to get a degree in psychology. She is also currently counseling people who have broken free from cults. She had some pretty rough spots that she's had to wade through, but she is very strong and determined to make the most of living. She is a real city girl and loves Toronto, so we don't see her and Ben as much as we would like. But that's OK. There's a lot more connecting us than there is separating us.
