beBee's Fun Trick - Guy Kawasaki hints for better engagement

beBee performs well, but you are wondering why some of your posts are still struggling while other are skyrocketing?


Recently #GuyKawasaki posted the findings of his own personal LinkedIn experiment about driving more views, and creating more engagement.聽

For my personal experience i have always prepared contents with a strategy in mind. I write main article first but do not publish it right away. I chose up to three images that will be used in condensed buzz equivalent of PR releases that lead to my main article. Then i add Guys Kawasaki's best practices by tagging and mentioning 4 to 8 personaes , beBee's VIP status or twitter's scored influencers (at least 8/10).

3 golden Tips

1. Your buzzes or PR releases linked to main article previously published should contain at least three shorts sentences from your original content.

2.Including a SEARCHABLE hashtag, what's trending and relevant to your post? Tag or mention ( with caharacters #/@聽)聽a 1st or 2nd network connection, this should be someone engaged in the community and highly active on social medias such as LinkedIn or Twitter.

3. And Guy's discovery: highlight and link an article within the comments. Use an article that is relevant to the post. It drives traffic and followers to your own content follower base.


Most of talented bloggers on LinkedIn or beBee are applying this rules of thumbs, but too many power users ignore it yet.

Engagement is like gravity, you cannot leave Earth without firepower and adequate propellers to fly into orbit. My say is, guys form up a team, 3 to 4 of you, do not try to copy another team or Hive, make yours unique and specific, not a general repository. Buzz on it and share in team over 2 chosen hives. People will come to you especially if what you do specifically is replicable by anyone. Challenge & invite. Them enjoy the results. Trust me, you can do it !
I will do a post to illustrate the insights & whereabouts of engagement towrds beBee from the Twitter perspective, to help people understand better how to manufacture their perosnal brand witha simple tool as Twitter. Sure i will also reveal new technologies and tactics that goes global over the entire social media, not inky the major ones. Because sometime big gunes do not reach local places and communities that would have affinities with you...but they would be your best audience or clients. Truth does not lay always in the obvious. You have tonsearch for angles.
Juan Imaz opened the door to Hope almost 2 years ago, if some have to be applaused it is them: They Dare & Share on a daily basis, managing ideas, people and budget. That is a hell of a performing commitment to the Community. We are lucky contributing passengers, trying their best, humbly..authentically. Now, bebeeing smart at growth hacking ain't a sin. So let it happen ! Buzz in teams, agendize, plan, perform, measure, think, rejoyce, then one more time!

Well, that's easier than getting YOU to do a Live Buzz (oops, there I go again. My bad, sorry).. imagine a moment an external server analysis from the outside the social networks (quite a few software do that nowadays), then the patterns are set as a model of reference in another webserver that in fact can regroup the individuals, nodes, and map their interactions as workflows. Would it be difficult to model a predictive set of action , under the formula, If This Happens, then do that. Piece of cake IFTTT already does but is not capable to intricate sophisticated scenari of consecutive actions, any actions that netwroks, Internet protocols and API can perform. Do you think such AI entities exists yet or not?
Lance \ud83d\udc1d Scoular got inspired and now is unstoppable...people might think it will be a temporary trend, things will pass...maybe, maybe not. What will happen if people strat to love doing or performing, then sharing on Hives but from My beBeeTV? How Youtube or Vine strated, why Whatsapps is woth 19 Bn $ pirchase. Because technology serve our Humanity, the way we are, but above all the way we DO.
If people ask me why, my answer would be pretty much the same....see Kawasaki's words ...our founders didn't start beBee to make some quick bucks, but rather because they wanted to change the world...i think they were in a Rafa state of mind for a long time now, they defined themselves no by what they said or will say, but by what the did, do and will do. Juan Imaz Dare & Share the opposite of Cash and carry. Affinities. The system BB "sees" the clusters from a machine point of view and put each others together so we can perceive respective data. We sees things from a human standpoint, but it get never more stronger than when we do things!

Dear , remember What Rachel said to Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins....It is not what we say (or write) that defines us, but What We Do. If think about the mental image of the mental theory, if i can inspire some to Dare & Share, they will be empowered to do the same in a reaction chain. That is my purpose, here on beBee. LOL... We are all pilgrims with a source of inspiration, a daily dose of guy's advice cannot hurt, or at least we can turm ourselves into better communicator, and this for the good sake of beBee.
