Edward Bernays understood the value of propaganda as form of mass conditioning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q-3qwEDyPM His focus on propaganda had to be changed to public relations after the Nazi's embraced his mass conditioning principles. Edward Bernays himself followed the path of misinformation and thus gave rise to the term "Banana Republic" when Bernays took his theories into the political realm, in this case a Banana Company for economic advantage. It is shocking that this subversive mass conditioning has moved from the 20th Century and into the 21st Century and that the spread of the information age has accelerated into the spread of the disinformation age. How can we hold any pride to claim 21st Century thinking when the predominate strain of thinking is an extension of 20th Century conditioning. This is the 20th Century writ large in an age which is far from being 21st Century in terms of politics. It is in technological progress, but what use is technological progress, if at the end of the day the underlying thinking has not progressed. Edward Bernays is still laughing in his grave and when people wake up to that truth is not in our power to control, otherwise we are no better than Bernays - truth is what touches our skin and our ego and then carves within us the form of humanity and love we externally cite. On top of that Mexico got hit with an earthquake, a Tsunami and a typhoon on the way. Parts of the Pacific Northwest, both USA and Canada are a raging inferno. Lord knows what is going on elsewhere in the world. As a friend of mine said yesterday, " There may be global warming but I have a different theory: Mother Earth is pissed. Reply
