What constitutes a good day of conversation?
In any given day, have you ever tracked the conversations you have had with others and tried to summarise them? Try, over the next few days to summarise the conversations you have with the people you interact with on a daily basis. Do the conversations when they are summarised have a positive focus or inconsequential or worse yet negative focus?
I read many years ago, that the average teen interacted with the meaningful adults in their life for less than half an hour a week and that these conversations were negative or prescriptive. I wonder how if we were asked to summarise our interactions with people over a period would find that the interactions were mostly superficial?
I thought of this as I was reading information that was posted on the Facebook walls I have read recently. Here are a few questions:
1. Do we need to have meaningful conversations to stay close to others, or do we need conversations to connect us to others?
2. If a person starts to isolate themselves from others is that a warning sign for their friends and if so what should they do about this?
I believe that ideas, interactions, and connections are important to us at any time of the year. So over the next few days try to pay attention to how you interact with people and track your conversations to see if you are bringing your positive attitude to others. If you want to attract others to you, start by being positive in your interactions with others.

Interesting @Mohammed Sultan, I have been in many group conversations where one person has tried to dominate the conversation. It takes a person with an awareness of the flow of the conversation, to make sure that everyone who wants to join in, can join in and speak. I appreciate your advice as it is very important for groups to make sure everyone is heard.
