    Description
    A business partner for Highway Operations and Tolling.
    # Advisor on safety programs such as construction safety, working at heights, traffic control, Book 7, ergonomics, etc.
    # Conduct scheduled and ad hoc site inspections and audits.
    # Monitor contractors and subcontractors.
    # Develop and deliver training, including safety orientations.
    # Achieve and maintain the train-the-trainer or authorized facilitator certification to be able to deliver in-house training sessions such as First Aid, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), etc.
    # Create and maintain the corporate library of Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Toolbox Talks (TBTs).
    # Keep open lines of communication with all stakeholders and advise on associated hazards and recommend controls.

    Diploma and/or Degree in a related field from a recognized institution.
    Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
    Certification in one or a combination of the following will be considered an asset:
    First Aid Instructor
    Working knowledge of construction safety, working at heights, traffic control, Book 7, etc.
    Intermediate computer user, including knowledge of the MS Office package.
    Skills and experience with databases, including manual data entry.
    Event scheduling, training coordination, training delivery, and recordkeeping.
