    As the Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will be the dedicated point of contact for a client related to ordering and status across asset types, order types, and platforms for a given client. Offers support and consultation throughout the process of new vehicle purchases. Arranges upfitting and transportation logistics for requests and provides Status support with exception management to the client based on their expressed needs.

    A Day in the Life

    Dedicated client facing point of contact for ordering purchases

    • Receives and executes orders from clients
    • Searches dealer inventory where applicable
    • Manages workflow from order submission through delivery
    • Provides consultative input regarding alternative vehicles and ordering methods for most effective and efficient delivery of complete vehicles (Turn-key with upfit complete)
    • Provides full order resolution support in collaboration with FPS for vehicles purchased from dealerships
    • Participate/Lead conference calls with clients, FPS and Vendors.
    • Manage change orders to remain in-sync with client's regulatory requirements related to Purchase order and payment, including addition of upfitting throughout the order process & / or post-delivery
    • Builds and maintains key contact relationships with chosen dealers and suppliers including training, expectations, and payment enablement.
    • Provides support to licensing related inquiries where unusual documentation may be requested as well as in-flight support for transportation issue resolution
    • Provides insight and consultation on the status of purchases
    • Generate, export to Excel, analyze and disseminate new order reporting to internal and external stakeholders
    • Stay abreast of the industry related trends and impact
    • Research order status, which includes communications to Dealers, Upfit Vendors, Transportation Vendors via email, telephone, and Teams

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent industry experience)
    • 3-4 Years of experience in Fleet Management and/or Vendor Management
    • Must -Excel- Advanced User (VLOOKUP Formulas, Formula Writing, Pivot Tables, Macros)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent Customer Service skills
    • Fleet or mechanical experience with upfit and/or utility companies is preferred.
