    Description

    Killam Apartment REIT (TSX:), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.

    We are currently seeking a well-organized and motivated individual to join our Human Resources department. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Human Resources Administrator will play a key role in ensuring administrative functions are accomplished to aid in overall departmental productivity and success.

    What you will do :


    •Prepare employment letters, and other internal communications


    •Prepare speaking notes, PowerPoint presentations, and other presentation material


    •Provide administrative support and scheduling for meetings, travel, and events


    •Field inquiries from employees relating to HR programs and services


    •Maintain strong documentation practices and procedures


    •Coordinate volunteer and community giving programs


    •Organize and store electronic employee records and files


    •Administer annual & probationary performance reviews


    •Support/coordinate special projects as assigned


    •Other duties as assigned

    Who you are :


    •Business Degree, Office Administration Diploma, or equivalent


    •Previous administrative experience


    •Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


    •Effective communication skills, both written and verbal


    •Excellent attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines


    •Demonstrated professional handling of confidential information
