    The Procurement Specialist is responsible for collaborating with Procurement Managers on a multitude of Procurement projects ranging from RFXs, contract management reviews and other supply chain management initiatives.

    Key activities include but are not limited to CBG client interviews, financial analysis and the modeling of proposals in the creation of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint communication summaries.

    Strategic Planning & Delivery

    Assist in the development and recommendation of sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients.

    Assist with the implementation of the sourcing strategy
    Opportunities Assessment & Implementation
    Purchase Order Administration
    Reviews requests and process purchase orders
    Prepare, send and file Purchase Orders on a daily basis meeting established quality standards.
    Responsible for daily maintenance of existing Purchase Orders.
    Utilize standard templates for all strategic sourcing activity including but not limited to RFx templates, contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreements
    Ensure adherence to Company Policies, Processes and Work Instructions
    Support Procurement team members as required
    Other duties and special projects as assigned

    University graduation or professional certification
    ~5-10 years of relevant work experience
    ~ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    ~ Ability to assist in the development and execution of supplier contract agreements
    ~ Computer proficiency in MS Office applications. Ability to quickly learn proprietary databases
    ~ Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems
    ~ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    ~ Good English communication skills both verbal and written
    ~ Facilities Management/ Property Management experience, an asset
    ~ French language proficiency, an asset

    Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
    ~ Partial completion of Supply Chain Management Professional Designation from Purchasing Management Association of Canada, or equivalent, an asset
