    Description
    Project Controls Manager
    AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups.

    The selected candidate will be key to support the strategy and execution of the successful development of the project.

    Oversee and lead Project Controls strategy.

    Participate in Building and ensuring project controls processes and procedures are in place.
    Responsible for smooth operation of project Schedule updates and Cost reporting.
    Earned value management.
    Identify key variances and corrective action planning.
    Report to Project Director.
    Ensure change control is performed.
    Lead a team of Planners and Cost controllers and conduct performance evaluations.
    The opportunity to work on various major projects for internal and external clients.

    ~15+ years of relevant Project cost and Schedule control experience, experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
    ~ Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
    ~ Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
    ~ Expert Knowledge of project management techniques and a few years of hands-on experience (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and experience in Project planning, analyzing, and reporting.
    ~ Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
    ~ Strong knowledge of the general project controls policies and procedures.
    ~ Solid report writing, communication and presentation skills.
    ~ Ability to work with staff, build and maintain good working relationships with Project Controls team.
    Ability to mentor junior and intermediate staff and work with senior project cost.
