    Join us as our next Senior Environmental Engineer

    Your Role at EXP

    EXP is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) to work from either our Brampton, Markham, or Hamilton office based on your preference. The chosen candidate will handle Environmental Investigation, Remediation, and Risk Assessment support for EXP throughout GTHA.

    • Provide leadership, training, and support to junior and intermediate staff in environmental site assessment, remediation, and risk assessment under Ontario Regulation 153/04;
    • Manage project technical, schedule, and budget aspects, ensuring compliance with standards;
    • Act as a knowledgeable resource in your field;
    • Analyze data and create reports for stakeholders;
    • Continuously expand knowledge through participation in technical events and sharing insights within the firm;
    • Collaborate with senior members to enhance the company's reputation with clients.

    Requirements for the Role

    • Must hold a Professional Engineer designation in Ontario (P.Eng.);
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Ontario environmental sector, preferably in consulting roles;
    • Engineering degree from a recognized university;
    • Familiarity with provincial (e.g., Ontario Regulation 153/04) and federal (e.g., CCME) guidelines for contaminated site assessments;
    • Experience in contaminated site investigations (Phase I/One and II/Two ESAs);
    • Background in remediation and risk assessment, with emphasis on Risk Management Plans;
    • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively;
    • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal; adept at technical writing.
