- Curate and organize footage from various storage platforms and networks
- Assist in planning library organization
- Execute on building the video library per plan
- Track and report project data
- Work with different locations to curate and intake video files for broader use
- Create thumbnails from video and input accurate metadata
- As time allows, assist in overall creation of short videos to support Communications and Brand work
- Legally entitled to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your internship and able to produce documentation.
- Current enrollment in a Video Production or Multimedia program with a minimum of one program year completed. Other programs will be considered if they are applicable and qualify for an internship.
- Proven experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Audition is essential
- Technical experience in creating smaller clips from large video files, noise reduction, eliminating shake, postproduction lighting adjustments, etc.
- Basic media and asset management
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and to accurately follow processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

About the role
Reporting to the Brand Manager, the Video Production Intern provides video production, editing, categorization and development support to the Communications and Brand team. Under the direction of the Brand Manager, the Video Production Intern will be primarily responsible for curating video files from various locations and editing and organizing all footage to form a more user-friendly and manageable library.
Working on-site is required for the first four weeks. Work from home will be optional on Friday after the first four weeks. Please note that this internship is a temporary placement from May-August 2024
