    Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual Opportunities Available
    54 per hour, as per the collective agreement
    Hours: 16 – 40 hour shifts available

    is hiring Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual Specialized Caregiver Supports to support Persons Served residing in Specialized Supportive Housing in Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon and/or Salmon Arm, BC.

    Building and maintaining healthy relationships with our Persons Served through a trauma-informed practice is the core of our work.

    In this role, you will promote a positive and healthy environment that supports our persons served towards achieving educational, social, and recreational goals while focusing on daily life skills development.

    As a Specialized Caregiver Supports , you will be provided with in-depth training and 24-hour on-call support.
    Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination may be required

    A diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or other related discipline
    Minimum 2 years' experience in social services or a combination of education and experience will be considered
    Related experience in working with vulnerable populations or behavioral challenges will also be considered an asset
    Knowledge of and the ability to work with complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD or other neurobiological conditions is beneficial
    Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) training and certification provided
    CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training provided
    First Aid Certification provided
    Extensive in-house trainings provided, including Complex Trauma practice

    Full-time and part-time eligible employees receive the following:
