    You will be working as a Sales Specialist and will be part of the Power Protection, Smart Power Division based in Montreal, QC. In this role you will be reporting to the Manager – Power Protection supporting our divisional strategy.

    Your responsibilities

    • Sells Power Protection product (UPS, STS and PDU) to customers and partners, focusing on volume and profitability target for the division.
    • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships, understand customer needs, promote our product / systems / services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
    • Identify, select, develop, and manage partner in the West Region.
    • Identify and drive the development of new market, segment, customer profile related opportunities. Developing leads and working with Field Application Engineer to be specified by the EPC and DBC.
    • Ensure efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customer, take initiatives in driving the marketing campaigns, promotional activities as and when required the support and actively liaising with the product marketing team.
    • Working on the tender (technical and commercial), create added value for the customer and ABB, ensure the successful outcome by using effective sales techniques such as value-base selling. Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions), achievement of assigned demand revenue targets for the year and for the assigned territory in line with the relevant financial KPI's like volumes, profitability, net price variance.
    • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes as per company policy, legal guide-lines and support collection and project management activities when needed. Ensure ap-propriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions as well as internal ABB legal guidelines.

    Your background

    • Engineer or Certified Electrical Technologist with Electrician certification, with proven experience
    • 5 years + experience in sales in large, complex, fast-pace innovative organizations, with direct management of Critical Power product solutions.
    • Ability to create and communicate marketing messages and value propositions effectively to all the business stakeholders.
    • Experience in dealing and understanding Power Protection Product portfolio, especially as it relates to the ecosystem of channel partners, segments & digital selling.
    • Strong problem solving, learning agility and ability to deal with shifting priorities and issues. Ability to supervise and manage multiple projects at the same time. Results focused and able to work well under pressure and against tight deadline.
    • Analytical and strategic in consolidating data into valuable information for the business to act upon.
    • Entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills and senior executive presence. Self-driven with networking, collaboration, and intercultural skills.
    • Fluent in both language French and English is an asset.
