    Description
    Altis Recruitment & Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Proposal Writer who has managed the full proposal lifecycle, to join our Corporate Proposals division. This is an exceptional opportunity for skilled proposal writers who are looking to work alongside a collaborative and supportive team, have prior experience overseeing bids from beginning-to-end, have impressive attention to detail to support the QA process, and are looking for that next step in their career

    Your main goal in this role will be to display the experience and abilities of our company in clear and effective responses to Corporate Requests for Proposals.

    This will occasionally require developing a strategy along with a bit of detective work, as you gain a clear understanding of each opportunity and work together with our team to develop a winning proposal.

    This role will rely on your resourcefulness, your writing ability, your time management skills and your attention to detail. Each proposal will be its own project, with due dates and deadlines for which you will be accountable.

    You must be able to organize your time effectively to manage multiple, simultaneous deadlines on various bids, while also communicating with numerous team members to collaborate on proposal responses.

    This position requires strong problem-solving abilities, as well as a commitment to Altis' Standard of Excellence for proposals.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Gaining an understanding of each opportunity by thoroughly reading the RFP and flagging any concerns with questions to the client for clarification
    • Thoroughly evaluating bids upon arrival to ascertain their potential for success, while actively engaging with leadership to address inquiries and identify proposals to action
    • Developing compelling questions where the client understands in order to gain a positive response
    • Identifying which questions require new responses
    • Researching possible answers using several methods, including interviewing colleagues
    • Writing the answer so that it reflects our company and brand and is tailored to the question that the client is asking
    • Preparing templates for the proposals
    • Developing a draft of the proposal for a quality review
    • Writing an effective response to the RFP that is clear, concise and compliant with the requirements
    • A strong focus on performing peer reviews and supporting a thorough Quality Assurance (QA) process to ensure the final proposal submission is in line with our established style and level of quality
    • Submitting the proposal to ensure that all mandatory elements are sent to the client by the submission closing date
    • Maintaining a strong proposal repository
    • Additional proposal support and tasks as required, including assisting other proposal teams in preparing responses to resourcedriven RFPs
    • Maintaining reports on proposal outcomes and lessons learned
    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience within proposal management
    • Strong technical abilities and excellent attention to detail to excel in quality assurance and peer reviews
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Effective time management skills
    • You are a driven professional who is accountable and selfmotivated for achieving and exceeding personal and team goals
    • You are a team player who enjoys collaborating
    • You are naturally curious, ask a lot of questions, and enjoy learning
    Education and Certifications

    Minimum education required:
    University Degree or College Diploma
