    What will you be doing in the Machine Operator/ Prime Line Operator position?

    As the Machine Operator Trainee, you will have the opportunity to help our business meet production targets by consistently producing high-quality interior finishing products. This Operator Trainee position will report directly to the Plant Supervisor and is a member of the Metrie Manufacturing team. The role will be based out of our Woodbridge, ON facility.

    At a high-level, you will:

  • Produce products to meet work order specifications while meeting high standard of quality
  • Operate our machinery and equipment to the specifications of the manufacturer
  • Support plant continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure daily production continuously meets requirements of IFOTIS (In full, On Time, In Spec)
  • Participate in cross-training with other departments on the production line to further your skillsets
  • Understand and apply our health and safety policies and regulations

    • Available Shift: Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 4:00 AM

  • Pushing / Pulling: Frequent when relocating production carts
  • Hand to eye coordination and dexterity: Picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and repetitive rotation
