    Who We Seek:

    We are seeking an individual who seamlessly integrates into our team, delivering excellent client service with effective communication skills. You will excel in providing guidance on bookkeeping, accounting, and tax matters while prioritizing relationship-building and demonstrating a strong work ethic.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    You will efficiently complete:

    · Notice to Reader Engagements;

    · Review Engagements;

    · Intermediate to advanced complexity T1, T2, and T3 tax returns;

    · Preparation of GST, T4, and T5 information returns;

    · Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Ability to demonstrate flexibility by assisting with file preparation or review tasks beyond your assigned responsibilities;

    · Five years of recent experience in a professional accounting firm, encompassing Compliance and Review Engagement files, personal and corporate tax returns preparation, and managing bookkeeping duties;

    · Demonstrated credibility with clients through experience in accounting and taxation, coupled with genuine enthusiasm for understanding their business needs and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;

    · Exceptional organizational skills, proficiently managing multiple deadlines, and ensuring timely completion;

    · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with expertise in CaseWare, TaxCycle, QuickBooks, and Sage.

    Please note that the functions listed above are not exhaustive and may be subject to change. The successful candidate may be required to perform additional ad hoc duties as needed to support the team and organization.
