    WestCreek Developments Ltd. is currently looking for a F/T Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful applicant will be CPA qualified and possess excellent communication skills. As a Senior Accountant, you will be working closely with the Development Managers and will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial accounting information, as well as planning and evaluating the departmental controls and accounting standards.

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Preparation of financial statements.
    • Responsible for the full cycle accounting and internal financial reporting process.
    • Taxation and business advisory
    • Conduct analysis of the general ledger, all financial reports and job costing.
    • Prepare month end reporting and reconciliations on accounts, GST, bank accounts, budgets etc.
    • Perform monthly analyses of account information.
    • Prepare budget information for comparison and analysis purposes and provide to management for approval.
    • Prepare revenue projections and budget forecasts.
    • Coordinating the annual external audit of the Company's financial statements.
    • Mentoring and guiding accounting staff.

    Qualifications:

    · University degree majoring in Business or Commerce.

    · CPA designation required.

    · Proficient Excel and QuickBooks skills.

    · 3-5 years experience in full cycle accounting.

    · Experience in land development is an asset.
