    Description

    Project Manager for Software Implementation

    Civix delivers software and services to transform the public sector, including elections, ethics, business services, grants, disaster recovery, and more.     The Project Management team contributes towards planning, developing, implementing and deploying Civix's market leading applications, solutions and systems required to achieve the company's business objectives. The Project Management team is on the front lines of managing the company's relationships with clients and stakeholders

    Our company is seeking to hire a Project Manager to join the Operations team within our EM Grants Business Unit based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

    The Project Manager role may include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Create & maintain project plans to communicate implementation timelines, deliverables, and estimates
  • Monitor timelines and ensure deadlines are met
  • Schedule internal and external meetings with stakeholdersCoordinate schedulesPrepare necessary presentation materials for meetingsSupport or lead calls with clients as neededDocument actions during calls and followup after calls to ensure actions are taken
  • Ensure that the required project documentation is complete and archived
  • Draft and send out client communications
  • Undertake additional project tasks as required

    • The Project Manager role may require, but is not limited to, the following skills:

  • Ability to take proactive steps in managing problems
  • Good judgement for prioritization
  • Tact with following up with internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others, initiate action, adapt to change, make difficult decisions, and accept challenging assignments.

    • The ideal Project Manager will bring the following experience:

  • A bachelor's degree, or college diploma, in a related field of study and/or at least three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, Google platform
  • Proven written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to book virtual meetings, manage multiple calendars/schedules
  • Evidence of experience in a role(s) that required organization and communication skills
