    Position: Accounting Administrator

    We are seeking a highly dependable and experienced individual to work in the role of Accounting Administrator in our firm's growing Finance Team. This is a permanent, full-time position that is available immediately.

    We are looking for a self-motivated professional who is highly proficient at working with numbers. Diligence and organizational skills are imperative. Applicants should consider themselves to be detail-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch-in whatever needed. We are looking for an independent and reliable individual with the ability to be a collaborative team player and build positive professional relationships with colleagues and management. A successful candidate is adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic office environment. The successful candidate will be under the leadership of Lynn Perrin, Director of Finance.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Processing daily deposits
    • Participating in the monthly and year-end closing
    • The preparation of monthly reconciliations, including direct bill and bank reconciliations
    • Contributing in the development and implementation of new processes
    • Supporting the finance team with various projects as assigned

    Education/Experience Requirements for this Role:

    • Post-secondary education with a focus in accounting or other equivalent training/career experience
    • 5-7 years' experience in a similar role
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook & Word) and PDF software is required
    • Experience working with Applied Epic (insurance broker management software) would be considered an asset, but not required
