- Identifies and proposes changes as part of the review and evaluation of existing programs and the development of new harmonized programs
- Makes recommendations and delivers presentations to client groups on compensation
- Conducts research and gathers information on best practices in compensation, legislative issues, and market competitiveness in all regions where the company operates
- In partnership with business units, participates in the development, drafting, and implementation of a common total compensation policy
- Assists in reviewing, maintaining, and administering sales compensation programs
- Participates in the deployment of annual salary review and bonus processes
- Acts as a resource person for business partners and monitors total compensation practices in business units to maintain consistency in policy application
- Could be required to participate in annual compensation surveys
- Bachelor's degree, particularly in Human Resources, Actuarial Science, or Mathematics
- 1 to 3 years of experience in compensation management, human resources, or finance
- Knowledge of compensation management;
- Knowledge of sales compensation (an asset)
- Fluent in both French and English, both orally and in writing (The employee will work with cross-functional teams in Canada and the United States.)
- Autonomy, initiative, judgment, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good knowledge of computer tools, especially Excel and Google Suite
