    Job Summary

    The Sr. Manager, People & Culture will be part of the Centre of Expertise (COE) and will promote and improve current talent management initiatives and programs to align with the business strategies as well as design new HR programs and procedures to align with expanded initiatives aligning with our strategies, vision, and values.

    Job Responsibilities

    - Design and oversee the implementation of corporate HR programs, processes, and policies in alignment with the overall talent strategy. Acts as the subject matter expert and provide guidance to HR Managers and Business Partners across all regions in the implementation of these programs such as performance management, succession planning, HR corporate policies, leadership programs, Diversity & Inclusion.
    - Provide guidance and assistance to regional HR programs, processes, and training to ensure overall strategies are aligned.
    - Design and implement a global recruitment strategy that aligns with business strategy, compliance, and local legislation.
    - Implement supportive programs that will assist with the development of employees such as individual development plans, roll out of competency assessments, coaching recommendations and leadership succession and organizational effectiveness.
    - Oversee global employee engagement initiatives. Responsible for survey design, communication plan and results reporting.
    - Design and oversee the implementation of diversity and inclusion framework to achieve both short and long-term goals. Develop the diversity and inclusion strategy and framework (vision, goals, and key priorities), gather metrics and create awareness for leadership and employees in understanding D&I concepts.
    - Create HR programs communication to multiple stakeholders and ad-hoc HR employee communication.
    - Leverage and apply insights from the business/functions on talent management programs design and implementation, and provides enhancements based on relevant market and peer organizations practices, and up and coming trends.
    - Provide analysis and metrics on talent management, employee development and leadership succession planning activities in order to provide informed HR information to the business.
    - Responsible for ad hoc talent management initiatives as needed.

    Job Requirements

    - This position requires a university degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field with a Human Resources designation or equivalent experience.
    - This position requires a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a Human Resources leadership capacity within a global industry. In addition, a minimum of five (5) years' experience in HR program development and execution.
    - Expertise in learning and development with direct experience in creation and execution of leadership programs.
    - Strong relationship management, execution, influencing skills and understanding the needs of the operations.
    - Great collaboration skills, able to engage a wide variety of people across the organization in solution design and delivery.
    - Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
    - Ability to work proactively and positively as part of a team acting with a sense of urgency.
    - Experience with multi-faceted, cross-functional, and highly visible projects.
    - Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written with various levels of the organization.
    - Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, priorities and work effectively with minimal supervision.
    - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of employees and different cultures.
    - Bilingual in English and French.
    - Ability to travel to Allied Gold's operations and offices.

    La gestionnaire principale ou le gestionnaire principal des personnes ou de la culture fera partie du Centre d'expertise (CE) et s'efforcera de promouvoir et d'améliorer les initiatives et les programmes actuels en gestion des talents afin de concorder avec les stratégies de l'entreprise. Il ou elle travaillera aussi à concevoir de nouvelles procédures et de nouveaux programmes de ressources humaines ajustés aux initiatives enrichies et qui s'aligneront avec nos stratégies d'entreprise, notre vision et nos valeurs.

    Description des tâches

    - Concevoir et superviser la mise en œuvre des programmes, procédures et politiques générales des ressources humaines tout en les alignant avec la stratégie générale de gestion des talents. Agir en tant qu'expert sur le sujet et guider la direction des ressources humaines et nos partenaires d'affaires de toutes les régions dans la mise en œuvre de ces programmes, la gestion de la performance, la planification de la relève, les politiques générales des ressources humaines, les programmes de leadership et la diversité et l'inclusion.
    - Guider et apporter son assistance aux procédures, formations et programmes régionaux de ressources humaines pour s'assurer que les stratégies générales concordent.
    - Concevoir et mettre en œuvre une stratégie globale de recrutement adaptée à la stratégie de l'entreprise et conforme à la législation locale.
    - Mettre en place des programmes de soutien qui aideront dans le perfectionnement du personnel comme des plans de perfectionnement individuel, des outils d'analyse des compétences, des recommandations pour le coaching, pour la relève du leadership et pour l'efficacité organisationnelle.
    - Superviser les initiatives pour l'implication des employés. Être responsable de la conception des sondages, du plan de communication et des rapports sur les résultats.
    - Concevoir et superviser la mise en œuvre du cadre sur la diversité et l'inclusion afin d'atteindre autant les objectifs à court qu'à long terme. Développer la stratégie et le cadre quant à l'inclusion et la diversité (visions, objectifs et priorités), recueillir les principaux indicateurs et sensibiliser la direction et le personnel aux concepts de la diversité et l'inclusion.
    - Créer des communications sur les programmes en ressources humaines pour les différentes parties intéressées ainsi que des communications ponctuelles sur les ressources humaines aux employés.
    - Tirer profit des nouvelles idées de l'entreprise sur la conception et la mise en œuvre des programmes en gestion des talents, et bonifier ceux-ci en s'inspirant des pratiques pertinentes d'entreprises semblables ainsi que des nouvelles tendances.
    - Fournir des indicateurs et des analyses sur la gestion des talents, le perfectionnement du personnel et la planification d'activités sur la relève du leadership afin de fournir à l'entreprise des informations vérifiées sur les ressources humaines.
    - Être responsable des initiatives pertinentes en gestion des talents, selon les besoins.

    Exigences du poste

    - Un diplôme universitaire en ressources humaines ou dans un domaine connexe avec un cheminement en ressources humaines, ou une expérience équivalente.
    - Au moins huit (8) années d'expérience dans un poste de direction en ressources humaines dans une industrie transnationale; de plus, au moins cinq (5) années d'expérience dans le développement et la mise en place de programmes en ressources humaines.
    - Une expertise en apprentissage et perfectionnement, y compris une expérience directe dans la création et l'exécution de programmes de leadership.
    - De bonnes habiletés en gestion des relations, en exécution; sait influencer par son leadership positif et comprends les besoins des opérations.
    - Une bonne aptitude à travailler en équipe; capacité à amener un large éventail de collègues à s'impliquer dans la recherche et la mise en œuvre de solutions.
    - Capacité à gérer des données confidentielles avec intégrité et professionnalisme.
    - Capacité à travailler de façon proactive, positive et avec une certaine urgence en tant que membre d'une équipe.
    - Expérience dans des projets multiformes, interfonctionnels et à forte visibilité.
    - Habileté à bien communiquer, autant verbalement qu'à l'écrit, avec les différents niveaux de l'entreprise.
    - De bonnes habiletés organisationnelles; capacité à accomplir plusieurs tâches à la fois, à prioriser et à travailler efficacement sans supervision ou presque.
    - Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles et capacité à interagir avec des employés de tous les niveaux et toutes les cultures.
    - Être bilingue (anglais et français).
    - Capacité à voyager entre les différents sites et différents bureaux d'Allied Gold.
