Be part of our fast-paced, agile teams that build software and innovative solutions in the ADAS and Autonomous domain for controls, mapping and diagnostics systems; working with teams to develop, implement, test, and debug Automated Driving software systems The student will work with a diverse team of developers and engineers to create software that empowers automated solutions like Super Cruise.

Key Responsibilities:

Test software solutions (e.g. unit, bench, and invehicle as needed)
Analyze test data (simulated, or vehicle) and provide insights to various partners (e.g. engineering development, field service, and/or safety engineers)
Collaborate with team members through Scrum/Agile
Investigate and support continuous improvement activities
Participate in daytoday engineering activities to gain an understanding of the vehicle development process

Qualifications:

Pursuit of a Bachelor's (3rd or 4th year but will consider qualified 2nd year with EcoCAR and SAE project experience) or Master's degree in the following areas: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science
Able to work 40 hours per week and for 4 or 8month term (12 consecutive semesters) starting January 202
Basic electrical and control systems knowledge
Experience with Python (working level knowledge)
Literate in Matlab/Simulink, and C/C++
Experience with CI/CD systems, software automation
Interest in vehicle controls and automated vehicle technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Have a valid Full Class G Ontario Driver's Licence, or equivalent Canadian outofprovince licence (Recommended)

Possess strong organizational, problemsolving, and analytical skills
Fundamental digital literacy including understanding of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
