    Position:
    Document Management Technician (Contract)

    Location:
    Calgary, Alberta
    Contract Term: 1 year (possibility of extension)

    Introduction
    We are currently looking for a Document Management Technician to join a major oil and gas client in Calgary, Alberta. This key role involves providing comprehensive support to Canadian Thermal Upstream projects, ensuring compliance with Document Management standards and procedures.

    Responsibilities
    - Support all Canadian Thermal Upstream projects throughout the Document Management (DM) Lifecycle, collaborating with internal project engineers and external engineering firm's project teams for Operations Projects.
    - Provide assistance to Calgary and Canadian Thermal Upstream Field staff regarding Document Management inquiries.
    - Utilize Document Management governing documents for job functions.
    - Maintain Document Management standards and procedures to uphold the quality and integrity of engineering documents.

    Deliverables
    - Manage engineering and vendor document deliverables and drawing revisions.
    - Handle FCN tracking, control, and distribution.
    - Oversee turnover management and Master Stick File management.
    - Execute closeout and other general document management duties.

    Requirements
    - Proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems.
    - Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller in the oil and gas industry, preferably with Owner-Operator or EP experience.
    - Familiarity with software such as SharePoint, SAP, Livelink, Content Server, MS Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, and McLaren Work Manager.
    - Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is advantageous.
    - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    - Understanding of varying engineering disciplines and technical document types and metadata.
