- Responsible for driving major projects and features across teams from design phase to coding and testing
- Work closely with product managers, engineering leaders and collaborate with partner teams to execute product/technology roadmap
- Coach and mentor others via either formal mentorship structure or day to day activities such as pair programming, code/design review, hackathon
- Play a critical role in hiring, acting as a bar-raiser to elevate team talent
- Deep experience building large scale, high throughput distributed web platforms/APIs serving millions of users
- Exceptional development skills in Java / Scala, Javascript, solid knowledge in GraphQL.
- Tracking records of identifying high-value, high-complexity technical problems, driving to effective solutions that had a significant positive impact
- Successfully forged alignment with senior stakeholders on technical direction for ambiguous problem areas
- Developed and drove adoption of technical patterns that significantly improved engineering practices across the organization
