    Description

    Embark on a groundbreaking journey as a Senior Property Mining Underwriter, where your expertise will chart my client's course into the mining sector.

    This role offers the unique opportunity to build the underwriting framework from scratch, enhancing brand presence and respect within the industry.

    You will be crucial in driving profitable growth by underwriting mid-tier to large domestic and multinational mining commercial property accounts.


    Title :
    Senior Property Underwriter / Specialist (Mining)

    Underwriting Leadership:

    Lead the development of underwriting strategies and frameworks for the mining sector, establishing robust guidelines from the ground up.


    Strategic Analysis and Execution:
    Evaluate and underwrite high-value mining property deals, balancing risk and opportunity to benefit our top-line and profitability.

    Shape our mining industry portfolio by setting standards and strategic directions that reflect our brand's values and market position.


    Risk and Quality Management:
    Oversee the quality and profitability of the portfolio, actively managing risks and compliance with established guidelines.

    Experience:

    Minimum 7 years as a property-focused underwriter with substantial experience in the mining industry, handling mid-tier to large scale domestic and multinational accounts.

    Comprehensive understanding of property underwriting, pricing, and product management in various market segments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
