    Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor, Buildings | Cost Consultancy

    Cost Consultancy

    Operating within the infrastructure and construction sector

    Our client is an expanding Canadian cost consultancy and risk advisory firm working in infrastructure and ICI buildings sector. They are establishing a project monitoring division and searching for an innovative Consultant / Quantity Surveyor to form and lead a team for commercial and residential buildings projects.

    Our client acts as Construction Advisors and Chartered Quantity Surveyors, focusing on:

    • Construction Claims and Disputes (including Delay & Disruption)
    • Forensic Audits
    • Capital Reviews
    • Project restructuring and resetting
    • Recovery Plans

    The ideal candidate will lead the business, acquire new projects and clients, and oversee the projects MGF is working on. They must expand the business and the necessary office support for project management. The role may offer opportunities for share ownership and profit sharing.

    Requirements:

    • Senior PQS background
    • Presentable, outgoing, and sociable
    • Skilled in delivering presentations
    • Thorough understanding of Vancouver market and pricing
    • RICS/CIQS certification
    • Established client relationships
    • Ability to mentor QS's across Quantity Surveying
    • Strong Business acumen
    • Capability to grow the business
