    About this role

    We are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager/ Estimator to join our Service division in the Burnaby office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

    Junior Project Manager/ Estimator Responsibilities

  • Coordinate aspects of the construction process, including RFI's, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, O&M manuals.
  • Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • With support from management, develop project schedules, review contracts, estimate changes, purchase materials and equipment and manage the project financial performance.
  • Develop / assemble start-up submittals and other project documentation.
  • You may also engage with contractors, engineers, architects and vendors.
  • Work with foreman and site superintendents to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing.
  • Work with the Safety Manager, on-site team to ensure safety on site is our #1 priority.

    • Junior Project Manager/ Estimator Experience and Skills

  • 1+ years of previous project manager or estimating experience in a related industry. Will also consider those with project coordinating experience.
  • Basic understanding of contract law, project management and estimating
  • Electrician TQ, Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or other relevant education a strong asset
  • Proficient in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset.
  • You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
