As we take on this exciting new challenge, we are seeking a Director of Sales to join our growing team based out of our Fraser Valley office.

    As we work with a hybrid policy, only residents of the Lower Mainland will be considered. You will be required to be on-site supporting our various clients and projects as needed, as well as working collaboratively from the Fraser Valley and Vancouver office. As this role will focus on projects out of the Fraser Valley location, you will need to be available for in person meetings and working with team out of the Fraser Valley office.

    Your core responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

    Key Accountabilities:

    Sales Team Management:

    • Plan staffing for projects, balancing knowledge of skills and abilities to promote the project, client
    • Create and update consultant contracts in real-time, coordinating with HR, Sales Operations, and Accounting
    • Assist in onboarding new consultants for smooth integration
    • Train team members on MLA's best practices, policies, and sales processes
    • Develop Sales Teams to excel in their roles, focused on performance and skillset development
    • Conduct quarterly development and empowerment sessions and mentor career growth
    • Establish communication rhythms with Sales Teams
    • Manage staff schedules and coordinate support during vacations and time off
    • Summarize product knowledge for sales tools and resources, keeping documentation relevant and consistent with change initiatives and processes
    • Help onboard new marketing teams that support programs and train on best practices and operational excellence
    • Establish a synergy with the Director of Marketing /Marketing Manager on your respective programs, to ensure alignment of collective team as they relate to staffing, client relationships, project updates, or other items that may come up
    • Schedule, manage and lead new development training sessions
    • Oversee the Sales Team and performance on sales floor and use of CRM tools

    Project Management

    • Nurture client relationship and/or sales program from initial internal kick-off meeting and co-manage new site integration meetings with your marketing team
    • Support the development and build-out of sales assets, program planning, strategy and all aspects that fall within the lifecycle of your sales programs
    • Manage roll-out and success of the program, while maximizing the client relationship
    • Attend Brand and Positioning session with marketing team
    • Responsible for all aspects of the program, including: (1) Product Development; (2) Brand Positioning; (3) Sales Strategy; (4) Sales Execution; (5) Administration; and (6) Closing Process
    • Prepare for and actively participate in all project retrospective analysis

    Sales Strategy Development & Budgets

    • In partnership with the Director of Marketing, develop innovative sales strategies
    • Sales Strategies must be developed in four components: (1) Preliminary; (2) Launch; (3) Comprehensive; and (4) Refined
    • Develop prospecting programs, realtor and grand opening events, and/or other milestones as needed with the project.
    • Manage inventory and pricing throughout the entire sales program, which includes executing on predetermined pricing strategies for the client
    • Adhere to project and staffing budgets, reporting on progress and outcomes
    • Review absorptions monthly to ensure on track and on budget with all programs

    Sales Administration & Budgets

    • Review disclosure statement, purchase and sale contract, and all required contract-related items, in conjunction with the Director of Administration in advance of disclosure filing
    • Oversee all deals executed by the Sales Team
    • Schedule, manage, and regularly review use of CRM, dashboards and conduct database audits
    • Leverage MLS Listings as a Sales Tool, and proactively determine MLS listings and ongoing listings throughout the sales program
    • Ensure there is regular and effective management of all parking, storage, and options allocations/reporting, in direct conjunction with the Director of Administration
    • Manage execution of Buyer Profile Surveys, aiming for 100% completion
    • Ensure all teams are effectively using traffic reports, prospecting reports, new offer notification emails
    • Ensure all teams are completing competition reports
    • Provide feedback and insight to the program's Marketing Materials and assess the effectiveness of all tools in propelling the program and building the client's brand
    • Manage all project and company-related tasks through Asana in order to maintain constant project communication with stakeholders
    • Responsible for the upkeep of all SharePoint files relating to the project marketing teams and sales department

    Client & Realtor Relations

    • Foster the growth of key Realtor relationships by developing, nurturing, and maintaining agent relationships, existing and new
    • Facilitate any key Realtor relationships with the team
    • Support the Business Development team, when necessary, to assist with building new business
    • Attend networking and industry events to build connections within the industry and the propel MLA's brand

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

    • 5-8+ years of experience in sales and marketing managing programs within real estate mandatory
    • Experience managing full lifecycle of programs, from concept to execution
    • Experience managing a team providing effective coaching and mentoring guidance
    • Relevant education (Certificate/Diploma/Degree) from a recognized institute
    • Proficiency MS Office applications, Hubspot, Asana and Avesdo considered an asset
    • Ability to produce results independently while maintaining a positive team environment
    • An amazing attention to detail with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Time-management skills working under pressure with multiple projects and timelines
    • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
    • A high-level of professionalism, diplomacy and tact
