    Position Title: Manager - Software Development

    Location: Calgary, Downtown Type: Permanent All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Our clients are seeking a Manager of Software Development with a strategic mindset and experience coaching DevOps, and Data teams. Reporting to a phenomenal leader, and working within an innovation-centered technology company, the successful candidate will have the ability to influence both internal technology to ensure the organization can continuously deliver excellent products to their customers. In this role, you will be seen and heard across the business and will have a fantastic opportunity to grow in your career. Here's a Snapsshot Of The Role
    • Oversee two teams across two countries
    • Support the growth and development of DevOps and Data Professionals
    • Drive the strategy and processes within the teams that you lead to increase efficiency and optimize for long term success
    • Lead agile processes for your teams acting (including SCRUM Master responsibilities)
    • Understand the product that you are providing to internal business teams and develop the future-state roadmap
    • Work alongside vendors to optimize the productivity of the technology tools currently used by both teams.
    Requirements
    • 5+ years of people leadership experience of technical teams
    • Direct or indirect experience with DevOps processes (preference to someone who has hands-on DevOps experience).
    • Evidence of ability to lead ""up" within an organization and influence stakeholders to drive change
    • AWS experience required
    • Strong desire to develop team members and enthusiasm for building highly effective tech teams.
