    Department : Financial Control Department
    Reporting to : ·Deputy Head, Head, and Co-Head of FCD
    Employment Type : 6-Month Contract / Full-Time Permanent
    Location : On-site in Richmond Hill Office

    Responsibilities:

    · Process expenditure payments, staff reimbursements, and control fixed assets.

    · Analyze and implement budgetary control measures for expenditures

    · Manage general financial accounting controls and perform daily bank reconciliations

    · Prepare expense reports for the Parent Bank and local management.

    · Maintain electronic filing systems and update departmental files.

    · Analyze rental fees and self-assess taxes for safety deposit boxes

    · Analyze accounts receivable and accounts payable.

    · Manage fixed asset movement and depreciation.

    · Conduct physical inventory checks of fixed assets.

    · Analyze amortization of expenses.

    · Prepare unclaimed balance reports for the Bank of Canada.

    · Perform other job duties as assigned by management.

    · Control and maintain parameters for OAS expenses.

    Requirements:

    · Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.

    · Fluency in Chinese is an asset.

    · Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.

    · Minimum of 3 year of work experience in accounting.

    · Strong ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently.

    · High initiative and ability to work under pressure.

    · Proficiency in computer software, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

    · Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    · Attention to detail, trustworthiness, and respectfulness.
