Responsibilities

  • Primary focus furthering the advancement investment opportunities through technology implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience in a role from which strong view of the investment management industry, including experience in front and middle office
  • Facilitating sessions with all impacted stakeholders not limited to technical design, planning, testing, and deployment
  • Exposure to a diverse set of investment management products with preference towards listed instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Money Market)
  • Performing rootcause analysis involving detailoriented, metric driven, problem solving and research skills
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Ideally brings 4+ years of experience in working with relational database and the ability to bring structure and discipline in developing/programming using SQL server
  • Ability to write efficient, complex queries against very large data sets
  • Experience with other programming languages (ie.
Net, Java, C#, etc.) is beneficial

  • Exposure to the investment industry or understanding of various financial instrument life cycle events is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps and Agile methodologies would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with Charles River, Calypso, Bloomberg, Murex, SimCorp Dimension, Eagle and integration platforms is an asset
  • Thrives under pressure and takes a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Adept at managing multiple, concurrent deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Passion for continuous learning and excellent team player
  • Excellent Analytical and Problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo's core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others

Success Measures

12-month success will be achieved by having a strong understanding of AIMCo's investment workflows, lifecycle events and processes maintaining support including developing and enhancing loaders and streams in the Eagle Suites (Pace, Pricing Center, SRM, Message Center etc.).
