    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Description:

    This manager is looking for an automation developer with excellent Python skills who can help them with IT-related tasks with lab PCs and hardware setup.

    Duties:

    Test lab infrastructure maintenance which includes software setup on host machines running Windows, Linux and peripherals

    HW setup, including wiring, and inventory

    Develop reliable testable scalable automation framework

    Use test management tools for test design, execution, and traceability

    Analyze logs and perform root cause analysis

    Typical Day in the role:

    -Analyze test runs failures, fix urgent issues

    -Report status, make a plan for today, tomorrow and next week

    -Work on fixes, improvements and new features by the urgency and priority

    oIT maintenance

    oHW maintenance

    oInfrastructure code

    -Submit your completed and partial progress for code review, get it merged

    Ideal candidate has:

    Experience with setting up and maintaining automation platforms enabling continuous integrations, such as Jenkins

    Detail oriented and adept at detecting and diagnosing software defects

    Good Python and system programming skills

    Strong POSIX systems affinity

    Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities

    Experience with PCs/IT

    Embedded HW Setup

    Experience Level:

    Expert Level
