    Description

    Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to find a Mechanical Inside Sales Professional based out of their Calgary, Alberta office.

    Our client is a North American leading manufacturer and distributor of air distribution products.

    In this position, you will promote all the mechanical manufacturers represented by our client, and provide accurate and timely support to all stakeholders in the HVAC industry while building and maintaining internal and external relationships.

    Develop and maintain relationships with all industry stakeholders (Engineers, Architects, Contractors, Developers, Owners, etc.), Carry out product selections for engineers and design/build contractors
    Project manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry through the end of the warranty period
    Self-educate, and attend manufacturer's factory/training visits, to ensure you are constantly up to date on the latest product developments and software tools (Occasional travel)
    Understand, and remain current with, both industry and local codes and regulations, and market trends, to ensure they comply and can exploit opportunities
    Service the engineering community in an accurate and timely manner
    Cross-train on other mechanical products, and air-side products, to be able to identify opportunities for other represented products. Train and support colleagues on all aspects of mechanical products
    Visit job sites as and when on-site challenges present themselves
    Be an active member of the ASHRAE community
    Prepare and distribute submittal packages and coordinate technical details during client approval
    Provide customer service via phone and email for general inquiries and customer requests
    Occasional inside sales duties such as warranty claims, tracking of shipments, and coordination of technical support
    Theoretical knowledge or education/experience with HVAC mechanical equipment is an asset
    Aptitude to learn how to read and interpret building specifications, blueprints, and as-builds
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet Explorer
    Valid driver's license
    A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Diple in Engineering Technology would be an asset

    Practical experience promoting and selling hydronic products such as boilers, pumps, fan coils, heat pumps, VRF, and fin tube radiation would be considered an asset.
