    beBee Professionals is looking for an experienced Event Manager to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

    The Event Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including conferences, meetings, and other special events.

    The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement event plans, including timelines, budgets, and staffing requirements
    • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and transportation
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
    • Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
    • Oversee event set-up and tear-down
    • Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
    • Ensure all event details are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
    • Provide on-site support during events
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field
    • Proven experience as an event manager
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Knowledge of event management software
