    Description

    Adecco, in partnership with our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a highly efficient and organized Administrative Assistant to join their team to be the go-to person for all things administrative. In this role you will be responsible for managing schedules and coordinating meetings to providing top-notch support to their team. Ideally you will be proficient at juggling multiple tasks with finesse, and are fueled by the satisfaction of keeping things running smoothly,

    • Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
    • Assist with the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors.
    • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
    • Manage office supplies stock and place orders as necessary.
    • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
    • Welcome and assist visitors when they arrive at the office.
    • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
    • Perform other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Must have oil and gas sector experience
    • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
