    General Information
    We are now accepting applications for:
    Equipment Operator – Level 2
    Streets and Roads

    More than one position may be filled from this competition

    To participate as part of a working team that operates a variety of equipment and machinery and performs the tasks required for the safe and efficient operations of the City's Streets Section.


    MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Grade 12, , , or Mature High School Diploma;
    • Must possess a valid and subsisting Class 3 with Air Endorsement Province of Manitoba driver's license;
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Sufficient experience operating Equipment Operator II classification equipment to have demonstrated skill in its safe and effective operation;
    • Experience on asphalt and snow removal is an asset.
    NOTE: The qualifications are not intended to limit the opportunities for interested candidates but provide the candidates with an understanding of the level of expertise required in this position.

    Position Conditions: This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours per week. This position will be offered in accordance with conditions identified in the Collective Agreement between the City of Brandon and CUPE Local 69.
