    Description

    As a student coordinator you are under the supervision of the Director of the School, the incumbent is responsible for the relationship with the students of the School.

    The incumbent meets and informs students about the programs to inform and advise them on their academic progress, the services and activities of the College.


    Status :
    Full Time Regular
    Advise students on programs and their academic pathways.
    Act as a resource person for students regarding integration or learning difficulties, intervene in disputes and handle complaints.

    In collaboration with the College, administratively ensure the follow-up of learning difficulties as well as support, motivation and academic perseverance.

    Analyze pathways, make plans and meet with students to explain the issues, whether in the case of a regular or atypical pathway or when they are in a situation of technical refusal (RT).

    Ensure the application of the success plan, compliance with the policies, procedures and regulations in force, including the PIEA, the admissions regulations and the various rules of conduct required of students.

    Supervise the follow-up of study permits and Québec acceptance certificates carried out by the administrative technician.
    Participate in the organization and implementation of the pre-school year and welcome sessions for new students.
    Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (in education, an asset) and in particular in team management;
    Hold a college diploma or a bachelor's degree in a related field;
    Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written;
    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT);
    Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
