    Construction Manager

    You as a Construction Manager will:
    ~ Accountable for overall project performance of one major project (
    ~$100M in value) or a portfolio of smaller projects
    ~ Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover of projects to ensure projects are completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule objectives
    ~ Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required
    ~ Develop and maintain pre-construction schedules, baseline construction schedules, procurement schedules, commissioning and PDI schedules
    ~ Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s)
    ~ Ensure project safety standards, company, client policies and environmental programs are adhered to

    Engineering or Construction related degree/diploma, or an equivalent work experience
    ~ Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations essential
    ~ Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
