Description

While primary duties are focused on the reduction of customer effort and vehicle throughput, the repair planners are active in quality control, insurance relations and parts.

Craftsman Collision is the largest independently owned and operated auto body repair chain in Canada – but we're also a family that cares about the people we work with.

Supports daily production, work flow and quality control of the shop;
Utilizes expert understanding and application of all insurance specific policies and procedures;
Assists with educating customers about claims and repair process;
Checks for vehicle recalls while building repair plans;
Works with the Shop Manager, Assistant Shop Manager, Operations team, People and Culture Team, and Health, Safety and Environment Manager to ensure that operations are compliant with all provincial and national regulatory standards pertaining to health and safety, quality and employment standards;
Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines to promote their consistent application within the Company;
Represents and promotes the Craftsman Collision brand in a positive manner aligned with stated values in all dealings internal and external; Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred; Working towards I-CAR Platinum certification an asset;
Strong verbal, written and listening skills, combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers;
Proficient in Outlook and video conferencing platforms with the ability and willingness to learn new applications;
Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years;
