    Opportunity to Use Your Innovative Brand and Marketing Expertise to Evolve the CPA Ontario Brand, Deliver Impactful External Events and Drive Revenue through Marketing Campaigns

    The Vice-President, Brand and Marketing is accountable for 3 key areas for CPA Ontario: Brand Office, Marketing and Events.

    Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will lead the strategic development, implementation, and management of the company's brand identity, promoting and enhancing the brand image and ensuring that it resonates with key segments and audiences and aligns with business objectives.

    You will lead a Marketing team that crafts and delivers cohesive messaging strategies and campaigns to promote and enhance the brand image and help deliver on marketing objectives.

    Manage a Brand Office for the organization and Develop a Brand Strategy :

    Create and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with objectives and resonates with our audience while communicating the brand's unique value proposition, ensuring differentiation from any competitive streams and relevance to key segments through creation of consistent and compelling messaging across all communication channels.

    Steward our brand, ensuring all channels execute content in alignment with brand vision and standards.
    Lead Brand and

    Marketing Functions:

    Lead teams and provide oversight to the execution of end-to-end brand marketing plans and innovative campaigns across all channels.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help deliver on business requirements and integrate the brand strategy into all aspects of the business.

    Partner with external agency vendors, internal creative studio and inspire our team of designers, writers and event specialists to deliver results.

    Apply Data Insights and Market Research : Measure and analyze the effectiveness of brand, marketing campaigns, media spend and messaging strategies and apply learnings to future work .

    Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand enhancement and adaptation and further understand the voice of the "customer".

    Oversee Delivery of Signature Events : Oversee development and management of signature internal and external events to maximize engagement with our employees, members and students ensuring amplification of the CPA Ontario brand.


    Manage Budgets and Resourcing:

    Manage the marketing and events budgets and allocation of resources to achieve strategic priorities, including managing external agency spend and resources.

    You hold an undergraduate degree in business, marketing or communications with a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience managing teams.

    A master's degree is considered an asset.

    You have proven success in brand development and management of brand deliverables and extensive experience working in or with a creative ad agency.

    You also possess a deep understanding of brand strategy and brand management principles.
    You have demonstrated experience in planning and execution of marketing in digital, social, direct, web and mass advertising.

    Project Management:
    You have a proven ability to drive multiple projects forward with a relentless focus on delivery.

    Communications You are a strong communicator capable of synthesizing complex issues and conveying information to all levels of internal and external stakeholders, senior management teams and partners in a clear and concise manner.
